Linnaeus Teaching GardenProject Summary
- Conceptual design and construction documents were developed for this unique demonstration and teaching garden within Tulsa’s Woodward Park. The project was envisioned and guided through completion by Barry Fugatt of the Tulsa Garden Center.
- Limited space and significant gradient provided challenges, as well as opportunities in the creation of various garden spaces.
- The design successfully integrated 16 styles of pavers and pre-cast wall blocks to provide a display of products of a major donor company.
- Garden areas include the entry walk, sculpture terrace, water garden, edible garden, and formal garden, as well as numerous garden structures, and connects closely with the Linnaeus Training Center building.
